reSonate

reSonate is an experimental music and multimedia event where computers, electronics, samples and circuit bent toys create soundscapes to video, animation and VJ mixes. An eclectic mix of musicians and media artists collaborate to produce new sonic textures and audio-visual delights. A great session involving Dave King on keys, John Plaxton on trumpet, Clive Radford - Electronics, Tim Manning - Hammer Dulcimer, Nick Sharpe - Guitar and Adrian Smith on Bass. Nice live audio/visual set from Stefan Goodchild using bespoke visual software that reacts to audio input. Jo Hyde showed one of his video works. Luke Woodbury played with the game of life creating music part made by the computer and part influenced by his interactions. Resonate 004 Live Footage

Performers include Luke Woodbury , Nick Sharpe, Joe Cavanagh and Will Angeloro. Expect improvisation, collaboration and plenty of computer mangled music, electronics, DJ decks, 'Fripp' style guitar noodlings and live visuals.

Performers were Joseph Hyde from Bath Spa University, Howard Vause, Adrian Smith Guitar pedal modular synthesis plus guests. Howard's video work, live poetry, a tribute to the late great Stockhausen, Jo's Subliminal TV set and music made with fx pedals all combined to make this a great night. Videos to follow shortly.
